CVA Objectives
The existence and activities of the CVA (Community of Ariane Cities) are clearly situated in the context of the construction of Europe.
The CVA brings together municipalities and groups of municipalities which possess common interests through European-related space transportation activities, and which share the following basic objectives.
These are :
-
Practical application of the multicultural nature of the human communities which make up the association, by encouraging exchanges between the communities and bringing them closer toget.
-
Management of all cultural, educational, promotional and socio-economic implications of Ariane space activities, which the institutions, other public bodies and business corporations concerned are not in a position to deal with on a direct basis. The CVA places particular emphasis on initiatives of an educational flavour as relating to space transportation.
-
Establishment of a corporate alliance in the economic context, aimed in two specific directions :
-
Internal orientation leading to direct economic exchanges between the members of the association.
-
External orientation , designed to generate economic and/or cooperative activities with the Caribbean and South-American markets, based on the formidable force of attraction
