Summer School

12th CVA Summer School have been hosted from 1 to 26 July 2011 by Sapienza University of Rome, CRAS Centro Ricerca Aerospaziale Sapienza Roma (Italy) in partnership with Provincia di Roma, Comune di Colleferro, ASI (Italian Space Agency), AVIO, ELV.

Alumni Gathering: 5th CVA Alumni Gathering took place from 14 to 16 July 2011 (departure of the participants on 17 July).

Programme of this 5th Gathering and answer form to return to CVA secretary (cva@ariane-cities.com) before 15 June.

Next professional visit of Guiana Space Centre (CSG) will take place from 12 to 16 september 2011.


The CVA Summer School, annual programme designed for around 40 university students and young engineers from space industry will focus this year on the following item : "future evolution of Vega European Launcher"

Professional visit of Guiana Space Center (CSG) in Kourou

At the end of each CVA Summer School, CVA organise a Kourou trip for CVA alumnis (persons who have participated to CVA programmes) and give them the opportunity to visit the Guiana Space Centre, meet managers and staff in situ to learn about European cooperation in Space and also discover in a intercultural atmosphere the features and beauty of Guiana'region.
